The UV treatment works continuously thanks to a specific lamp which is integrated into the swimming pool filter. Once filtered, the water passes through a block where UV rays are emitted. UV rays transform the DNA of elements that are irradiated (microbes, algae, etc.) and destroy or oxidize them.

The Philips TUV XPT amalgam system consists of an electronic conductor which operates a TUV XPT amalgam, mounted in a sleeve.
