The light from the ULTRA-VITALUX® lamp is similar in composition to the sun's radiation mix at high altitudes. This is generated by a high-pressure tungsten filament lamp. The lamp's casing consists of special glass and an internal reflector that focuses the radiation.
A special coating on the glass allows the lamp to emit only UVA and UVB radiation, similar to that found in sunlight.

Clear, frosted glass exterior.
Onion-shaped with a silver reflector.
Lifespan: 1000 hours.

Applications:

For cosmetics, dermatology, and certain medical treatments. Enhanced UV sunlight effect with simultaneous IR light; skin care (psoriasis, boils); reduction of sulfur dioxide; regulation of the autonomic nervous system; activation of vitamin D production (anti-rickets action, strengthening of teeth); regulation of blood calcium levels; bactericidal action against infectious diseases.
